Hi, I’m Cinnamon.

I’ve always felt like I was born reaching for something unseen; something wild, something sacred. Art found me early, or maybe I found it. Either way, I’ve never known a life without creation. I was raised by parents who nurtured every form of expression, and I grew up watching my mother paint, who learned from watching her tío Pepe paint... and somewhere along the lineage I learned more than anything that artistry is awakened through a deeper sense of wonder that can be realized through dedication.

I’ve always been drawn to what can’t quite be explained; emotion that lingers, memories that ache, the quiet pull of nostalgia, the rhythm of nature. My work lives in that space. It’s not just what I see, it’s what I feel, what I remember, what I can’t let go of.

I followed that pull to The University of the Arts, where I earned my BFA in Photography and Graphic Design. But truthfully, my real education has always come from living, observing, feeling deeply, and translating that into something tangible.

Now based in Philadelphia, I create daily from my studio moving between painting, photography, design, and writing, letting instinct lead more than anything else. My work is an extension of a spirit that was never meant to be contained. Not everyone understands that, and that’s okay.
